Dental Care

Dental health problems can be just as painful for our furry family members as they are for us. Our Northwest Calgary veterinarians can provide your companion with complete dental care to help avoid unnecessary dental pain and restore and maintain your pet's good oral health.

Diagnostics

Our in-house diagnostics lab allows us to take a detailed look at the internal health of your companion. We regularly perform blood, urine and fecal tests in addition to cytology, X-rays and ECG on-site. These help your veterinarian choose the best course of treatment for your pet.

Wellness Exams

We prioritize the prevention and treatment of disease by performing regular exams. These routine physicals provide our team with an opportunity to monitor your companion's health, provide preventive care and detect the earliest signs of developing concerns so treatment can begin sooner.

Surgery

Our veterinarians perform a variety of elective and non-elective surgeries to aid in disease and injury treatments. The safety of your precious companion is our top priority. We provide an excellent standard of anesthetic protocol and have numerous monitoring procedures in place.

Vaccinations & Prevention

Vaccinations and parasite prevention for dogs, cats and exotics are being continually researched, resulting in ever-changing protocols and reccomendations. Our experienced veterinarians will determine a vaccination schedule that is tailored to your pet's unique needs, based on their medical history, risk of exposure and lifestyle.

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is a drug-free treatment option for dogs, cats and small mammals healing from injury or suffering from degenerative conditions. It can help to relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce inflammation. This non-invasive treatment can be used alone or combined with conventional medicine to treat a variety of conditions.

Acupuncture

If your dog, cat or exotic mammal is sore or injured, we can supplement their treatment with acupuncture. This ancient Chinese practice encourages healing by stimulating the central nervous system. By inserting tiny needles into the skin, we can stimulate specific points throughout the body with the goal of relieving health conditions and pain.

Chiropractic Care

Our veterinarians administer chiropractic treatments to your companions to help alleviate discomfort from various conditions. Chiropractic treatment is primarily used to address musculoskeletal problems in pets. By creating alignment in your companion's musculoskeletal system, we can provide relief from pain and restore mobility.

Pet Nutrition

Your furry friend's diet can have a profound effect on many aspects of their overall health. But making sure your companion has the right diet can be tricky. If they could benefit from improved joint, kidney, skin or dental health, our team at Stoney Trail Veterinary Clinic can help you navigate the choices and find the optimal diet.

Behaviour Training

A pet that can be trusted in all situations, walks well on a leash and knows where it's appropriate to relieve themselves is a joy to share a home with. If your cherished companion exhibits behaviours that leave you shaking your head, or if you need advice on behavioural issues and training, we're here to help. Contact us to book a consultation.

Small Mammals

Caring for and handling small companion mammals requires special knowledge and experience. Rest assured that your loved ones are in good hands with us. Our team has years of experience providing preventive care and treatment to a variety of small mammals including hamsters, bunnies, ferrets, guinea pigs and more.

Senior Dogs & Cats

Maintain optimal health, good quality of life and comfortable mobility for your aging dog or cat with regularly scheduled exams. Senior wellness exams allow our veterinarians to provide proactive care for age-related conditions and early diagnosis of developing concerns. This gives the opportunity for treatment to begin before complications emerge.

Puppies & Kittens

Making sure you are providing your new best friend and family member with everything they need to thrive is a big responsibility. From vaccinations to nutritional guidance, our team can help you navigate your puppy or kitten's critical first year of life with targeted services, support, and helpful information each step of the way.

Internal Medicine

Veterinary internal medicine deals with conditions that impact the health of your dog or cat's internal systems. Diagnosing and treating internal illnesses and conditions, such as diabetes, allergies, autoimmune issues, kidney disease and cancer is a part of what our skilled veterinarians do to help keep your companion happy and healthy.

Emergencies

If your dog, cat or exotic mammal needs urgent, non-life-threatening care, call us right away. We will make every effort to see your furry friend between our scheduled appointments. If we are unavailable to fit them into our schedule or it is after hours, please call Trinity Hills 24-hour Pet Hospital at (403) 233-2888.
