Meet Alexa
RVT
Alexa is a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) with nearly 3 years of experience in the veterinary field. She grew up with small bichon dogs, who hold a special place in her heart and helped foster her deep love for all animals. Alexa worked in Fort McMurray for over two years before relocating to Calgary, where she joined the team in September 2025.
At the clinic, Alexa enjoys working with all types of animals and has a strong interest in continually learning more about exotics. She has a special love for surgery and is especially passionate about supporting rescue and shelter animals, something she is grateful to be involved with through Stoney Trail Veterinary Clinic. Alexa also loves educating clients and helping them build stronger relationships with their pets to improve overall quality of life. She loves being part of a small clinic with an incredibly supportive team that truly feels like family.
Outside of work, Alexa enjoys spending time with her ridiculous 5 year old rescue dog, Yara, a border collie mixed with heeler. She loves being outdoors, relaxing with small crafty projects and her small family, and cooking, which is definitely one of the ways to her heart.
